Busan One Asia Festival Returns for Its 10th Anniversary

The Busan One Asia Festival (BOF) marked its 10th anniversary with its headline Big Concert on 27 and 28 June 2026, cementing Busan as South Korea’s premier destination for K-pop and Korean cultural events. The milestone edition drew a significantly larger crowd than previous years, with an expanded line-up and programming spread across the city. BOF has grown from a regional fan gathering into one of Asia’s major K-entertainment events, drawing visitors from Japan, China, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and further afield. Busan itself provides a practical and attractive setting: Haeundae and Gwangalli beaches, the Jagalchi seafood market, Gamcheon Culture Village, and Haedong Yonggungsa Temple are all within straightforward reach of the main festival venues.

Tickets for the Big Concert sell out quickly once the line-up is announced. International visitors should monitor the official BOF website closely for on-sale dates, as third-party reseller prices climb steeply after primary sales close. Standing and floor sections go fastest; seated sections further back tend to have more availability.

Accommodation in Busan during BOF weekend historically sells out at mid-range properties near Haeundae. For the 2027 edition, book early once dates are confirmed. If Busan options are exhausted, Seoul is a viable base - the KTX high-speed train covers the route in approximately 2 hours 30 minutes from Seoul Station.
