AREX Express (Airport Railroad Express - Non-Stop)

Terminal 2 passengers board at the T2 AREX station - the express stops there before T1, adding roughly 6 minutes to journey times from T2.

Tickets are purchased at self-service machines on the basement concourse of both T1 and T2. Machines accept Korean cards, major foreign cards (Visa and Mastercard), and cash. Signs are in Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese. No booking in advance is required - trains rarely sell out.

Practical Notes

T-money Card

The T-money card is a rechargeable transit card that works on the AREX all-stop train, the Seoul metro system, limousine buses, regular city buses, and many taxis. Pick one up at any GS25, CU, or 7-Eleven convenience store inside the airport arrivals hall - they cost approximately KRW 2,500 and can be loaded at the counter or at ticket machines. Data and Navigation

Naver Maps is the most reliable navigation app for Seoul transit. Download it before your flight or pick up a local SIM card at the airport. Currency

Luggage
