WATERBOMB Seoul 2026 takes place July 24–26 at the KINTEX Outdoor Global Stage in Ilsan, northwest of the city. The annual festival combines K-pop and EDM performances with large-scale water gun battles - a format that’s become one of South Korea’s most distinctive summer events and increasingly popular with international visitors.

This year’s lineup includes DIPLO, JAY PARK, ZICO, KARINA (of aespa), TAEMIN, and several MONSTA X members across the three-day programme. The mix of Korean and international acts is typical of WATERBOMB, which positions itself as a crossover event rather than a purely K-pop festival.

What to Expect

The format runs in two phases each day. Afternoon sessions feature DJ sets and build-up performances while the crowd warms up. Evening headline sets are the main draw, with the water element - industrial-scale water cannons and audience participation - running through the sets.

Come expecting to get wet. Waterproof cases for phones, quick-dry clothing, and a change of clothes for after are standard practice. The festival provides lockers on site. Most attendees treat the full-day format as a commitment: arrive mid-afternoon, watch the sunset sets, stay through the headline acts.

Getting to KINTEX

KINTEX is located in Goyang (Ilsan district), accessible by subway from Seoul via Line 3 to Daehwa Station - approximately 45 minutes from central Seoul. Shuttle buses also run from designated pickup points in central Seoul during festival days. Tickets are available through the official WATERBOMB website and partner platforms; early-bird pricing typically sells out months in advance.
